SALIENT FEATURES

Body : Robustly designed to withstand stringent duty condition, Smoothly configurated to reduce Turbulance.
Long and Accurate Guides : Optionally toleranced for free movement of wedge in flow path and retaining leak tightness even in fluctuating line condition.
SuperFinish Seating Faces : High accuracy and superfinish by lapping of body ring and wedge seat faces, guarantee zero leak and reduce operational torque.
Deep Stuffing Box : Facilitates extra number of gland packings and ensures pressure tightness and long packing life, can be repacked while valve is back seated.
Spindle-Wedge : T-SLOT is housed in the wedge in such a manner to improve transmission efficiency of torque from spindle to wedge and ensure leak tightness. the solid flexible wedges fitted in Gate Valves are Cast Steel having 13% Chrome Welded seat facings, machined with exterme accuracy and finaly ground and lapped to a mirror finish to secure no-leak condition and to minimize the risk of galling.

NOTES FOR GATE VALVE :

  1. The standard Body/ Bonnet material is of Cast Steel to ASTM A 216 Gr. WCB. Body-bonnet in grde lcb/c-5/wc-6/ wc-9/cf-8/cf-8m/cf-3/cf-3m ect. trim: 304/316/ Stellite ect. Available to suit Requirements.
  2. Yoke will be provided from size 8" and onwards
  3. To facilltate operation, all heavy duty valves have Yoke Sleeves fitted with Thrust Ball Bearings. In class 150 and 300 ids, they are provided from Nominal Diameter 14" and onwards. In class 600,900 and 1500 ibs. from 6" and onwards.
  4. Pressure sealed bonnet available in higher classes on Request.

What is Digital Valve? The Digital Valve is a unique Mass Flow Control System (MFCS) designed for rapid and simultaneous fluid metering and control.  The MFCS consists of Digital Valve (DV) and Digital Control Unit (DVCU). Digital Valve (DV) is an array of parallel- arranged flow restrictions - usually nozzles or sonic holes - which each operate on / off (flow, no-flow). With this arrangement, the flow rate can be changed by adjusting the combination of open/closed elements. Each active element allows fluid to flow between the common entrance and exit space (plenums). Because the pressure drop between plenums is the same for all elements, the active element will flow at a rate proportional to the restrictor area. This results in a stream that will be "digitized" because each flow restrictor area is the precise fraction of the total flow.
